There are many provinces of Argentina that have a high quantity of Perdiz, and it is legal to shoot them in most provinces.  The limits range between 8-12 birds depending on the limits set by the government of Argentina, and/or the self-imposed limits of your Argentina Perdiz hunting outfitter.  Adventurix offers trips to both Santa Fe, and Corrientes provinces for Perdiz hunting, and we also offer Perdiz in conjunction with our Uruguay dove hunting trips.

Hunters who choose Argentina hunting for Perdiz in Santa Fe province can elect to add doves and/or ducks to the package, as well as golden dorado fishing.  All guests arrive by air to Rosario or Santa Fe national airports, and then transfer by ground to the lodge.  Shooters who opt for Corrientes can add ducks, doves, and dorado to the package and should plan on a ground transfer (six hours) from EZE (Buenos Aires International Airport) or a charter flight.

The Argentina hunting dogs are an elegant mix of English pointers, German shorthaired pointers, Brittany spaniels, and an occasional Weimeraners.  All of the dogs are steady, and the Perdiz will sit well for a point, although the birds receive little pressure, and often need a nudge from the hunters or the guide in order to get them to flush.  When they do flush, it is abrupt, and startling…it takes a few flushes for hunters to get used to the tempo, and then everyone gets on target quickly.  Most hunters will reach a limit in just a few hours.  The walking is easy, and there are no cacti, snakes, or other nefarious elements to contend with.
