The Alberta moose hunts take place during November. We offer 6, 9 or 12 days packages for our hunters. We provide 1 professional guide for every 2 hunters. These are not as physically challenging as other big game hunts so enjoy the challenge and fun of getting a trophy 35-45 inch wide bull. We offer our moose hunts (6,9.12 days) during the month of November, the post-rut. The big game animals are usually concentrated at the feeding locations and with Canada's snow we can track the large moose. Our professional guides are locals that know this area of Alberta and have studied the feeding patterns of the moose to ensure a high success rate for our big game hunters. We begin our day by traveling to remote areas where the moose usually feed. Our hunting takes place in stands and walking to get within range of a moose.

Blue Sky Outfitters will arrange for the accommodations at local hotel and bed and breakfasts for your moose hunt week. The accommodations are included in the hunting package price as are the meals, so service and quality are met not only with the hunting but also the lodging. The town of McLennan is 900 and in a great area of Alberta, Canada. We welcome non hunters and November is a great time to see this part of North America.
