Kodiak is an angler's (and non-angler's) dream destination with a scenery that is unlike any other and fishing that is unbelievable.

Our lodge can accommodate up to 16 guests; please inquire if you have more in your group. The fishing packages are set for 3 day, 4 day, 5 day , or 6 days of fishing. We fish for 8 hours everyday and have a variety of species available. Salmon, Halibut, cod, Black bass and silvers are likely species found in the Kodiak Island waters.

The lodge operates 4 fishing boats holding 4 people per boat. Our fishing sites are located in remote areas of Kodiak Island. Saltwater sport fishing can be done all year long; however, the peak trophy King season is from May 1st to July 15th.

The fishing at Kodiak Sportsman Lodge is first class and sure to create memories and true tales of skill and fishing techniques. Kodiak uses 4 custom built aluminum catamarans for our Salmon Fishing. The boats are five star Coast Guard rated. Equipped with twin engines and complete electronics, Kodiak touts first class fishing transportation. Seating is enclosed and the fishing gear includes top of the line Loomis and Lamiglas graphite fishing rods, Shimano reels, lures, and bait. Kodiak suggests fly fisherman bring their own fly fishing gear; however, we do have a few outfits available for use.

We fish 4 anglers per boat with a Coast Guard licensed captain on each boat. The fishing day is 8 hours; weather and water conditions permitting. Kodiak will also supply Gortex rainwear (up to 3X) and knee boots (up to size 14) for our anglers.

The accommodations at the Kodiak Sportsman Lodge are first class. We can accommodate up to 16 guests; the lodge has six double rooms and four single rooms with queen beds. All rooms have a private bath and daily maid service is included.

The lodge contains a lounge/living room complete with satellite television and wireless internet. This is a popular point of relaxing by the fire and downloading the day's pictures while enjoying the food and beverages prepared by our gourmet chef.

The lodge provides a shuttle service to and from the boat harbor; however, the boat harbor is very close to the lodge and can be accessed by walking to it.
