The Uruguay Dove Hunting Lodge is located in Northwestern
Uruguay. The doves are high-volume; comparable to
Cordoba, Argentina. The Doves found in Uruguay are
an Eared Dove (Zenaida auriculata).
Well traveled hunters declare that Uruguay is one
of the greatest places for high-volume dove shooting.
You will agree the moment you see millions of doves,
either leaving their roosts or returning to them in
the evening.
The doves reproduce more than six times its number
annually due to ideal conditions (weather and food
supply). Hunters can shoot an average of 800 to 1000
shells a day. The estimated dove population in Uruguay
exceeds tens of millions, so you can fire on at will.
The Uruguay dove hunting season lasts year round and
we can accommodate up to 6 shooters at the Uruguay
Dove Hunting Club. Depending on the time of the year,
the dove hunting can be combined with pigeon and Perdiz
hunting.
Dove hunting takes place in the morning and afternoons
include either more doves or Perdiz hunting between
the months of May and July. Morning decoyed pigeon
shoots can also be enjoyed at this destination.
