Nothing could be further from the truth.  It’s super-easy to get here.  Simply fly or drive to Laredo, Texas.  From there you will be met by our staff and transferred to the ranch (roughly 30 minutes driving).

The standard hunt is 2 days and three nights of Mexico dove hunting.  Additional days of high volume dove hunting in Mexico can be added, making the trip 3 nights and 4 days—if you desire five days, please let us know. 

Although it is not necessary to have a visa to travel to Mexico if you are a US citizen, you may no longer go hunting in Mexico with only a birth certificate.  If you do not have a valid passport, you will be denied entry at the border and unable to take your Mexico wingshooting trip.

Each morning after a hearty American breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, or cereal you will travel to the fields in our “Safari” style vehicles that are specially designed for hunting quail in Mexico, dove hunting in Mexico, and just about any other type of hunting in Mexico that one could desire to do.

The vehicles are comfortable, and the drives are short.  No dove hunting trip to Mexico would be complete with out the services of a professional and motivated bird pick up boy.  You will have your own assigned to you, and he will make sure that you are fully prepared for a splendid outing of dove hunting in Mexico. 

Once the shooting begins you will be swarmed by tens of thousands of doves feeding in the fields, or in the afternoon flying into the roosts.  Your barrels will be hot, your shoulder tired, and your senses sharpened by the intense action that is Mexico whitewing dove hunting. 

One of the advantages to dove hunting in Mexico with Rio Grande is that you have mourning doves to fall back on in the event that heavy rains slow the whitewings down—always a nice insurance policy in case Mother Nature does not cooperate.
