This is the place to come and shoot doves! WSTW keeps tabs on thousands of acres of feeding and roosting habitat, and works with large landowners to keep underneath the birds. Because the doves in Bolivia are truly a moveable feast, WSTW houses dove shooters in their network of private lodges in the middle of each of their shooting areas, so driving times to and from the field each day are kept to an absolute minimum. All lodges are clean and comfortable, with large bedrooms and private baths in each room….some are downright opulent!

Getting there…

From the U.S. you fly to Viru Viru International Airport in Santa Cruz Bolivia via American Airlines, Lloyd Aero Boliviano, or AeroSur from Miami. Or, AeroSur also provides Santa Cruz service from Washington D.C. Flights are overnight with morning arrivals in Santa Cruz, usually about 8am. Wing Shooting the World staff will breeze you through customs and provide the transfer via charter flight to the dove shooting lodge. After a welcome lunch, begin dove shooting this afternoon. You'll then shoot two full days, and a long morning on your 4th day, before a short charter back to Santa Cruz where you'll overnight in the 5-star Los Tajibos Hotel, snug in one of the city's finest residential neighborhoods. Transfer will be provided from the hotel to the airport the following day.

Wing Shooting The World has quickly gained experience, and has become one of international dove shooting's foremost operators. They organize field endeavors with timeliness and precision, to assure you get to the shooting promptly, so you can enjoy the day without worry or hassle. Each day begins with a knock at your door and coffee delivered, and this is just to get your wheels turning before sitting down to a hearty breakfast, followed by a short drive to the field--most are less than 20 minutes. Once at your shooting location, WSTW will have a bird boy on hand each day to help watch the skies, and provide shells and drinks. Shooting is virtually non-stop whether you are in the grain fields or nearby foothills—fast action dove shooting is what you came for and it's what you'll get each and every day in Bolivia. After a morning session, it's off for a gourmet lunch, then perhaps a short nap in the shade before more shooting until dusk. Each evening return to the lodge for sundowners with friends near the campfire.

Your last morning hunt will stretch until lunchtime, then after lunch at the lodge and time to pack, you'll charter to Santa Cruz, and overnight at the Los Tajibos Hotel, so you and your group will have the chance to enjoy a bit of Bolivian nightlife before the trip homewards.
