The snow that we hunt in is one to three feet in depth in these areas, so the snowmobiles are the only way to ensure success—and even then there is no guarantee, but if one can get a chance at a kill on a huge bison, it can be a trophy of a lifetime—indeed one of the most rarefied and ancient trophies of our time.
