Nervous Waters - Bair's Lodge
Geographical Location: Bahamas.

One of the best reasons to add bonefishing in the Bahamas to your regular schedule of international fishing trips is the fact that there is no season or restrictions on when you can fish. Therefore, Anglers can enjoy a trip to Andros Island for bonefishing any time of year, and nothing beats Bair's Lodge for great Bahamas Bonefishing.

South Andros is not only home to some of the worlds biggest bonefish, but a whole lot of them as well. The fish are so abundant that you can expect to hook up on 20-30 per day, many of them ranging from two to four pounds. And while Bair's Lodge, is primarily known for some of the best bonefishing in the world, anglers can expect to catch permit and tarpon on occasion as well, ending a perfect day of sight-fishing on the porcelain sands and turquoise water of the Andros Flats. Sometimes even jacks, barracuda, and several types of snapper can find their way into your net too!

Bahamas bonefishing trips can make the perfect family vacation (who does not love to go to a beautiful beach?), and the first class accommodations and excellent service offered by Bair's will not disappoint. The lodge itself is situated on the western side of the Southern Flats, and offers easy access to Little Creek, and Deep Creek, which are some of the least fished flats in South Andros. Bairs Lodge has seven guest rooms, all of them fully air-conditioned, and outfitted with individual bathrooms, making Bairs Lodge the perfect destination for those with small groups, and/or those who desire the ultimate in exclusivity and privacy. It should be noted that all bonefishing at Bair's lodge is catch and release.
